圆周率日-全校集会

全校师生齐聚剧院，身穿紫色或带有圆周率元素的衣服，共庆圆周率日。

活动伊始，小学部学生齐唱圆周率之歌，在歌声中徜徉在数学世界。

中学部校长沈华先生发表致辞。他表示，这是一年一度的数学盛会，可以让学生全面地了解数学、喜欢数学、享受数学，感谢筹备这场活动的各位师生，预祝2024年度圆周率日庆祝活动圆满成功。

Angela老师详细介绍了圆周率日的历史背景和活动流程。

用3.14的镜像看到单词Pie，从而引出有阅读障碍的孩子们的需求，他们看到的和普通人看到的图像都是镜面反射。这个困难也是爱因斯坦小时候所经历的。

每一位孩子都像天上的星星，都是独一无二的。生活并不缺少美，而是缺少发现美的眼睛。

伴随动感的音乐，苏诺师生玩转音乐游戏，演绎精彩的“圆周率之舞”。

绘出不一样的数学

上周，学校征集了圆周率日海报和苏州诺德2024数学奖状设计，学生踊跃参与、积极投稿，用最真挚的热情、最智慧的创意绘出不一样的数学。

午餐时间，学生绘画的作品在食堂展出，全校师生用星星贴纸为喜爱的作品投票。

艺术组精心准备了颜料，学生们沉浸在π彩绘的快乐中。

智趣闯关 玩转数学

头围测量、设计你的专属π、摩斯密码、数独、用粘土制作π、宾果游戏、π纸链、圆周率交响曲等二十余项趣味闯关挑战在体育馆火热进行。

每一位学生在闯关挑战的过程中感受到了数学的乐趣。

March 14th is International Pi Day. Today, NAS Suzhou held a grand celebration of Pi Day. All the teachers and students of the school celebrated "π" in the "most mathematical" way.

Infinite loop, no end, discover the beauty of mathematics. We connect the mathematics subject with English, Music, Art, Science and other subjects, realizing the charm of diverse integrated subjects.

Whole school assembly

All the teachers and students of the school gathered in the theater, wearing purple clothes or clothes with pi elements to celebrate Pi Day.

At the beginning of the activity, the students in the primary school sang the song of Pi and wandered into the world of mathematics in the singing.

Shane Shen, principal of the secondary school, delivered a speech. He said that this is an annual mathematics event that allows students to comprehensively understand mathematics, like mathematics, and enjoy mathematics. He thanked the teachers and students who prepared this event and wished the 2024 Pi Day celebration a complete success.

The word Pie is seen in the 3.14 mirror image, thus eliciting the needs of children with dyslexia. What they see and the image that ordinary people see are mirror reflections. This difficulty was also experienced by Einstein as a child. Every child is like a star in the sky, unique. Life does not lack beauty, but lacks the eyes to discover beauty.

Accompanied by dynamic music, teachers and students of NAS Suzhou played music games and performed a wonderful "Dance of Pi".

Draw different mathematics

Last week, the school collected designs for Pi Day posters and NAS Suzhou 2024 mathematics certificates. Students actively participated and used their most sincere enthusiasm and smartest creativity to draw different mathematics.

During lunch time, the students' paintings were displayed in the cafeteria, and all the teachers and students of the school voted for their favorite works using star stickers.

The art team carefully prepared the paints. The students were immersed in the joy of π painting.

Enjoy the fun of mathematics through breakthrough games

More than 20 interesting challenges including Head Measure, Design your Pi, Morse code, Sudoku, Create the Pi symbol using clay, Bingo, Pi paper chain and Pi symphony were held in the gymnasium.

Every student felt the fun of mathematics in the process of overcoming the challenges.

NAS Suzhou encourages children to have lofty aspirations and step on the path of struggle. Our mission as teachers is to assist them in discovering and fully realizing their learning potential, helping them become people who can change the future world.

As the head of the Secondary school, I will continue to pay attention to the comprehensive development of every student, continuously optimize curriculum implementation, ensure academic quality, and provide diverse paths for further education, so that each and every one of us can smoothly enter their ideal overseas university.
