亲爱的瑞得福大家庭：

First and foremost,I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire RDF Community for attending yesterday’s International University Fair,hosted right here on our Dapeng campus.It was an honor to welcome students from all grade levels,parents,teachers,administrators,community members,and representatives from over 60 world-class universities,including the University of Oxford—ranked#1 globally.This event underscores RDF’s alignment with academic excellence and global opportunities.

首先，我想向所有出席中国国际大学展的瑞得福成员，致以最诚挚的感谢。此次活动迎来了各年级学生、家长、教师、行政人员、社区成员，以及包括全球排名第一的牛津大学在内的60余所世界顶尖大学代表，能举办这样的盛会，我们深感荣幸。这一活动充分彰显了瑞得福对学术卓越的追求，以及为学生搭建全球机遇平台的决心。

As an Oxford Alumni,hosting the University of Oxford on our campus was particularly meaningful.However,the true value lay in engaging with the full spectrum of institutions,fostering meaningful dialogues between visitors and university representatives.

作为牛津大学校友，能在瑞得福校园迎接母校代表，对我而言意义非凡。但此次活动的真正价值，更在于让大家与各类院校充分交流，推动访客与大学代表之间建立有意义的对话。

This year,I emphasized inclusivity in university visits,ensuring students from all grades participate.Yesterday’s event proved this vision’s worth.It was heartening to see parents of younger children exploring international education options alongside their children.University representatives praised this fair as the most organized,well-attended,and interactive of their China tour,particularly noting its superiority over events in Shenzhen over the past three days.This reflects your dedication to your children’s futures.

今年，我特别强调大学来访活动的“包容性”，确保所有年级学生都能参与其中。昨日的活动印证了这一理念的价值：看到低年级学生家长与孩子一同探索国际教育路径，令人倍感欣慰。大学代表们盛赞此次展会是他们中国之行中“组织最完善、参与度最高、互动性最强”的一场，尤其提到其质量远超过去之前在深圳举办的其他同类活动。这份认可，正是你们为孩子未来倾注心力的最佳证明。

Students across all grades also shone.Representatives commended our younger students’enthusiasm,a trait rarely seen at other schools.In my opening speech,I highlighted how such events ignite inspiration and broaden horizons.True to form,Pre-7 students approached me with brochures,excitedly discussing arts,dance,and even finance programs.While their aspirations may evolve,witnessing global opportunities firsthand fuels their daily motivation.

各年级学生的表现同样亮眼。校方代表们纷纷称赞我校低年级学生的热情——这在其他学校并不常见。在开幕致辞中，我曾提到这类活动能激发灵感、拓宽视野，而事实也确实如此：低年级的学生们拿着宣传册找到我，兴奋地讨论艺术、舞蹈，甚至金融相关的课程。或许他们的志向未来会改变，但亲身接触全球机遇的经历，无疑会成为他们日常学习的动力源泉。

A special thanks to institutions like Oxford,RIT,The Education University of Hong Kong,University of Oregon,and universities from Italy,Spain,the UK,Ireland,Singapore,Japan,Malaysia,Australia,Canada,the USA,and beyond.This fair exemplifies our commitment to early networking,inspiration,and lifelong goal-setting for students.

特别感谢牛津大学、罗切斯特理工学院、香港教育大学、俄勒冈大学，以及来自意大利、西班牙、英国、爱尔兰、新加坡、日本、马来西亚、澳大利亚、加拿大、美国等国家和地区的院校代表。这场展会印证了我们的承诺：为学生搭建网络、激发灵感，并助力他们树立终身目标。

The momentum continues!Next week,the University of British Columbia will visit.All are welcome to attend.

Volleyball Team Success

排球队斩获佳绩

Equally newsworthy is the success of our boys’and girls’volleyball teams,who advanced to the finalslast week!The championship matches begin next Tuesday.The entire RDF community stands behind them—go,teams,go!

同样值得关注的是，我校男女排球队上周成功晋级决赛！冠军争夺战将于下周二打响。全体瑞得福成员都是他们的后盾——加油，队员们！

Parent-Teacher Conferences

家长会提醒

A crucial reminder:Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held this Friday.These are three-way discussions involving parents,students,and teachers.Topics may include addressing challenges,setting future goals,or simply catching up.My door is always open for visits,whether to discuss Strength Training,Photography(subjects I teach),or as your child’s principal or friend.

重要提醒：家长会将于本周五举行。这是三方会谈，家长、学生和教师共同参与。议题可能包括解决挑战、设定未来目标或日常交流。我的办公室随时欢迎来访，无论是讨论体能训练、摄影（我所教授的科目），还是作为校长或朋友与您交流。
