To celebrate the joy of reading and the boundless possibilities that books bring, SIPC hosted its annual Book Week. This thoughtfully designed event aimed to inspire a love for literature in students and nurture a lifelong passion for reading. One of the event’s highlights was the unveiling of a Poetry Recital short film, which not only showcased the students’ exceptional English language abilities but also captured the profound beauty of literature.

Buddy Reading
In the Buddy Reading activity, older students paired with younger peers to share the joy of reading. Regardless of their location, the bonds formed during these sessions demonstrated the unifying power of stories. This cross-grade collaboration deepened students' comprehension of stories, cultivated empathy and communication skills, and illustrated the powerful role of reading as a bridge connecting hearts across age groups.

Scavenger Hunt
One of the most exciting activities was the Scavenger Hunt. Students raced against the clock to find specific words hidden within books in their classrooms. The competitive spirit and joy of discovery made this activity a favorite among the students. Additionally, it enhanced their concentration and vocabulary, allowing them to learn and grow in a fun and engaging environment.

Reading Challenge
The Reading Challenge encouraged students to read more books on digital reading platforms. After fierce competition, Grade 3 emerged victorious with the longest average reading time, winning the championship! They will enjoy a special reward consisting of a movie screening and pizza party. This challenge not only ignited students' passion for reading but also fostered valuable teamwork skills as they collaborated to achieve victory. 
阅读挑战活动则激励着学生在数字阅读平台上阅读更多的书籍。经过激烈的角逐，三年级凭借最长的平均阅读时间脱颖而出，荣获冠军！他们将享受观影与披萨派对的特别奖励。这项挑战活动不仅激发了学生们对阅读的热情，更在他们齐心协力争取胜利的过程中，培养了宝贵的团队合作精神。

Make a Book Competition
The Make a Book Competition allowed students to fully express their creative ideas. Winners of the competition received book vouchers and certificates as rewards. This activity not only affirmed the students' artistic talents but also encouraged them to imagine boldly and fully showcase their creative abilities.

SIPC’s Book Week was more than a celebration of books—it was a celebration of imagination, creativity, and the joy of learning.
