Last Friday, our Year 10 students embarked on an interdisciplinary learning expedition to the Metro Supermarket in Nanan. This learning outside the classroom experience, designed by the Math and Humanities departments, turned the shopping centre into a living classroom where students applied their theoretical knowledge to a real-world scenario.

During the visit, students delved into Metro's warehouse operations, engaged in hands-on cooking sessions, and interacted with customers and employees through interviews, amassing a wealth of valuable data while honing their research skills These immersive experiences not only enriched their grasp of mathematical and economic principles but also underscored the real-life relevance of their studies.

在参观过程中，学生们深入探索了麦德龙的仓库运营，参与了烹饪实践，并通过与顾客和员工的访谈收集了大量有价值的数据，有效提升了研究能力与实践技能。这些沉浸式活动不仅加深了学生对数学和经济概念的理解，还展示了这些知识在日常生活中的实际应用。

The students and Metro staff involved thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Over the next few weeks, our students will analyze the data collected to address their inquiry questions, further enhancing their learning.
