On September 21, 2024, the YCIS campus transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity and culture as we hosted the highly anticipated Arts Carnival. Welcoming over 500 attendees, the event was a resounding success, showcasing a diverse array of artistic expressions and engaging activities for all ages.
备受期待的艺术嘉年华活动于2024年9月21日在耀中国际学校校园如期举行。活动以其丰富，积极，雅俗共赏的形式吸引了超过500名参与者，取得了圆满成功。

YCIS  Arts Carnival
耀中艺术嘉年华

The day kicked off with exhilarating stage performances that captivated the audience. YCIS students took to the stage, showcasing their unique talents in music, dance, and theater, setting a lively tone for the festivities.
令人振奋的舞台表演为活动拉开了帷幕，重庆耀中学生在舞台上尽展才华，令观众拍手叫好。

Attendees had the opportunity to explore a curated Art Exhibition, featuring works from YCIS students, staff, parents, as well as local established artists. The exhibition provided a platform for artists to share their creations and connect with the community.
由来自耀中学生、老师、家长以及当地知名艺术家作品组成的艺术长廊，吸引了无数来宾驻足观赏，也为艺术家们提供了一个分享创作经历并与社区互动的平台。

The carnival also offered a range of hands-on activities and games for all ages. Participants enjoyed the Jewelry Studio and the Graffiti Art station. Other popular workshops included pottery making, flower arranging, face painting, and balloon twisting, ensuring that there was something for everyone.
嘉年华还提供了适合各年龄段的手工活动和游戏。参与者享受了珠宝工作坊和涂鸦艺术站的精美创意。其他受欢迎的工作坊还包括陶艺制作、插花、面部彩绘和气球小丑，来宾皆大欢喜。

Fun & Creativity

One of the highlights of the carnival was the YCYW Artist in Residence programme, where guests could meet and interact with a talented artist demonstrating their creative process.
嘉年华的一大亮点是耀中耀华驻校艺术家项目，幸运的来宾可以与我们的驻校艺术家面对面沟通，畅谈艺术见解。

A standout moment was the mesmerizing Sichuan Opera Face-changing performance, leaving spectators spellbound with its rapid transformations. Guests also had the chance to learn about Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage and try their hand at Chinese Calligraphy, guided by skilled practitioners.
引人入胜的川剧变脸表演吸引了大批观众和粉丝，来宾还有机会了解中国非物质文化遗产项目，并在专家指导下尝试中国书法的魅力。
