Last week,Shanghai MacDuffie School was very honored to invite the Chinese admissions officer of the University of Toronto to visit our school and have a good talk with our students.The on-site admissions officer made a detailed explanation on the curriculum,professional advantages,and university environment of the University of Toronto.All the seats in the lecture hall were occupied and the students cherished this opportunity to communicate.

Q1:美高课程体系和ALEVEL课程体系申请多大哪个更难申请？
Which is more difficult to apply for the University of Toronto?AP or the A-LEVEL course system?

A1:两个课程体系均能申请多大。不存在哪个课程申请更简单还是更难，针对不同的课程体系，以及申请不同的专业，都有针对性的申请要求和课程要求。
Both course system can apply for the University of Toronto.There are specific application requirements and course requirements for different course systems and different majors.

Q2:我想要申请法医专业可以吗？
I want to apply for the major of forensic medicine.Is that OK?

A2:可以申请，我校法医专业在密西沙加校区。
You can apply.Our forensics program is at the Mississauga campus.

Q3:多大的七个学院需要单独申请吗？
Do the seven colleges of the University of Toronto require separate applications?

A3:今年申请我们预计将学院preference取消，当然部分学院申请还是有额外的申请条件和补充申请的。
In this year's application,we expect to cancel the college preference.Of course,some college applications still have additional application conditions and supplementary applications.

Q4:我听说多伦多大学有个非常牛的AI HUB，国际学生能申请吗？
I heard that the University of Toronto has a remarkable AI HUB,can international students apply?

A4:你说的是多伦多大学的向量学院。是的，该学院是加拿大顶尖的AI研究所。你想在加拿大读研究生项目的话，可以申请的。
You're talking about Vector College at the University of Toronto.Yes,the institute is Canada's top AI research institute.If you want to do a graduate program in Canada,you can apply.
