Congratulations Denisa for receiving offers from top art schools. She plans to study a BA in Interior Architecture and Design at Marbella Design Academy, Spain. Denisa joined BSB in 2017 and said that “I was able to find my passion for art and design through my art classes and interactions with my teachers.”

Her advice for other students is to “try to get involved in extracurricular activities that interest you, as they can help you develop new skills, make friends, and gain new experiences.” She thinks what’s special about the school is that “BSB is a multicultural environment with students from many different countries and cultures, promoting values of tolerance, respect, and understanding.”

Congratulations Ayushi for receiving an offer from University of York, U.K. to study law. She said that “Studying at BSB (and the IB Diploma) has developed me into a critical thinker and a broad-minded international student. I have learned a lot about time management, being balanced and have been able to participate in many academic and extracurricular opportunities. All such skills are key to producing a successful personal statement as well as personal growth and development.”

Ayushi is a member of the BSB Student Council as the Internationalism Assistant Leader. She also participated in table tennis, K-pop dance, choir, Eco-Committee, School Newsletter, Yearbook, musical set production and charity work providing meals for children in need among others.

Congratulations Alexandre for receiving multiple offers from prestigious universities around the globe. Alexandre plans to study a double Bachelor in Econometrics and Economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

As part of BSB's Eco-Committee, Alexandre supported student projects that work towards UNICEF's Sustainability Development Goals (SDG).  He also participated in charity works such as helping the Belgian Embassy organise a traditional cultural Belgian event for the children.

Alexandre said that all these have helped him learn leadership and time management skills, and work collaboratively with others. 

Isabelle is excited to receive the offer to study Biological Sciences from Mount Holyoke College. She joined BSB in 2017 and enjoyed working towards the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Awards with her classmates. Mount Holyoke College is the oldest member of the prestigious Seven Sisters liberal arts colleges for women on the East Coast of the United States. We wish Isabelle all the best in her future studies!

Congratulations to Lucy who plans to read Law at the University of Edinburgh! Lucy has been studying at BSB for 10 years and was our Head Student in 2022-2023. She said that “Teachers at BSB work hard to make us well rounded students, giving us all the resources we need in order to pursue our dreams in addition to getting good grades.”

When asked what she likes the most about BSB, Lucy said “I like the sense of community and friendliness that you can find in every aspect of school from participating in school production to sports and of course in class.”
