Age Requirements for 2022-2023 School Year 2023-2024 入学年级:

All students should meet the age requirements according to the government policy. Students applying to 1st Grade must be 6 years old by August 31st of the entry year, and so on.

所有申请入学的学生需按政府规定适龄年龄入学。申请1年级的学生需在入学年份的8月31日（含）前满6周岁，以此类推。

Entry during school year 学年中间入学

To ensure normal teaching order, we highly recommend you to finish the application and enrollment process before school starts. Though, according to each division’s policy and deadline, it is possible to offer a rolling admissions process for mid-year applications if there is any vacancy.

为保证正常的教学秩序，我们建议学生在秋季开学前完成入学手续。在学年中如有空余学位将按各学部的时间规定招收插班生。

Admissions Procedure 招生流程

Interview and Acceptance 面试与录取

Once online application form, required documents are received, we will set up a time for an interview/testing. Please be noted that we have carefully considered and designed our admissions process to be as smooth and fair as possible to each candidate. We also consider the fit of the family as part of our decision, so please try to be patient and take the time to understand our mission, vision, admissions process and policy, and to make sure you and your family fit with our educational philosophy and the BIBA code of conduct. All students including siblings of current students or graduates will need to follow the Admissions Process and attend interview/testing. The student will not be able to enroll if he/she fails the test.

招生部在收到学生的在线报名申请、全部申请材料后，将安排测试/面试。学校的招生流程经过严密准备与精心安排，以保证录取过程顺利并公平地对待每个学生。我们也把家庭教育理念是否与学校契合作为我们录取学生的考虑因素之一，因此请您抽出时间阅读并了解学校的使命与愿景，确保您和您的家庭认同学校文化、教育理念及海嘉政策。在校生或毕业生的兄弟姐妹同样需要按照相同招生流程申请并参加面试或测试，如未通过测试将无法办理入学。

Students applying for Early Childhood Center (ECC) will attend an interview, where teachers can observe their basic skills and development level. Students applying for Kindergarten (KG) and up will need to submit reference letter, school report (G1 and up), also to attend the entry test.

申请幼儿园的学生，须参加面试以便老师观察孩子的综合能力和发展情况；申请学前班及以上的学生，须提供推荐信及学术报告（1年级及以上），并且参加入学测试。

Re-Testing 复试机会

The student who fails the interview might be invited for re-testing based on the interviewer’s suggestion. Admissions Office will inform parents if and when is the re-testing time, not every student will be invited to the re-testing.

如学生未通过第一轮测试，招生部将依据测试老师的建议决定是否需要安排复试及复试时间，不保证每位学生均会获得复试机会。

Chinese writing test 中文书面测试

The Chinese writing test is required for all students in Grade 2 –Grade 12 if they have attended a Chinese school or if they are a native speaker of Chinese language. Students who have not attended a Chinese School or do not speak the language are not required to do the Chinese writing test before enrollment; instead they will be placed in certain CSL classes according to their Chinese level after enrollment.

对于所有以中文为母语考生或在曾就读学校学习过中文的2年级及以上考生，在申请时均需进行中文水平书面测试。未曾学习过中文的学生或母语不是中文的学生在入学前无需参加中文水平书面测试，一经录取，学生将会被分配到适合的非母语中文班级。

Payment 付款

Full payment is required before a student may attend school. Please refer to the invoice for the school fee, the due date and the bank information. Please write down your child’s name and grade level while transferring, and please send the bank slip to bibaf@bibachina.org after the transfer. For all students accepted, placement will be guaranteed upon confirmation from BIBA Finance department. If full payment is not received by the due date, placement will not be guaranteed for your child.

学生入学前须完成全额付款。请按照学费单金额及学校账户信息，在缴费截止日期之前完成付款。对于所有通过测试/面试的学生，我们将在收到财务确认收到学费后安排学位。如果财务部未在缴费截止日前收到仍未收到付款，我们将不能保证孩子的学位。请在付款时务必注明您孩子的申请年级和姓名，并将付款凭证发送至bibaf@bibachina.org，仅在收到财务邮件确认后方可视为缴费成功。

Placement 学位

The decision to offer a place at BIBA is made by the Admissions Committee on a first-come-first serve basis. Students successfully completed enrollment test are accepted based on their comprehensive ability and are not discriminated against race, religion, social status, or gender, etc..

学校招生委员会将会按照入学标准，遵照先到先得及择优录取的原则做出录取决定，且不因种族、宗教、社会地位、性别或其他原因而影响录取其决策。在校生逾期未缴费将视为自动放弃学位及优惠，需按照新生申请流程重新报名、缴纳报名费及参加面试。

Gift policy 礼物政策

It is important to keep our decision-making process free from perceptions of impropriety or inappropriate influence. In order to preserve the integrity of our admissions process, our BIBA Admissions Team will not accept any forms gifts from parents or any person associated with a candidate for admission. No parents or agencies will be able to obtain a seat at BIBA in a way against the principles mentioned above.

为了避免不必要的干扰，保证招生过程的公正性，招生部门所有成员不会接受任何形式、任何价值的礼物。任何中介或机构都不能为申请人获取海嘉学位。

Admissions Priority 优先选择

All students need to attend the interview/testing. After acceptance we will give admissions priority to siblings of current students or graduates, and those on the previous year’s waiting list.

全体申请人均需参加入学面试或测试。在通过入学测试的申请人中，我们会优先考虑在校生的兄弟姐妹、海嘉毕业生的兄弟姐妹及等位名单中的学生。具体安排将按照学校相关政策执行。

Admissions Requirements 入学须知
If any student has behavior problems or information relevant to admissions was withheld, inaccurate or falsified, BIBA reserves the right to withdraw the student from school.

如果家长在学生入学前未如实提供学生行为习惯或招生部所需的其他相关信息，我们将保留要求学生退学的权利。

If the student is not capable of participation in full school hours or in P.E. lessons, he/she has to specify before enrollment and submit a medical certificate.

如学生身体上有特殊需求，无法按照学校要求正常出勤，或无法正常参加体育活动，须在入学前提交正规医院开具的相关证明。

Middle School and High School Admission Requirements 初高中入学要求

Students are required to have a required level of English acquisition to be able to achieve academic success at BIBA. Students will be reviewed following rigid testing and then referred to specialized programs if required.

学生必须具备所需的英语水平，用于保证在海嘉取得学术上的成功。学生须经过严格的测试，并按学校要求参加所需课程。

IB Diploma Program Admission Requirements IB文凭课程入学要求

As the IGCSE curriculum is a valid indicator of student success in the IB Diploma Program, acceptance into the full IB Diploma Program at BIBA will require the following minimum requirements:

· Minimum estimated grades of B or higher in the majority of IGCSE courses

·  No more than two IGCSE courses with an estimated grade of C

·  An estimated grade of at least a B for students taking IGCSE English as a second language; an A is recommended

·  No estimated grade lower than a C in IGCSE International Mathematics

IGCSE课程成绩是衡量作为学生在IB文凭课程中取得成功的有效指标。进入海嘉IB文凭课程需满足以下要求或达到类似课程的同等标准：

•主要IGCSE课程的最低估分为B或更高

•不超过两门IGCSE课程估分为C

•IGCSE英语为第二语言的科目估分至少为B，建议为A

•IGCSE国际数学预估分不低于C

The IBDP is a challenge and involves rigor to complete the full two-year diploma program. Therefore, we strongly recommend certain subject/course specific attainment levels (as outlined in the IBDP handbook). Selection outside these subject specific boundaries will need approval from the IBDP coordinator.

IBDP是具有挑战性的文凭课程，需要严格完成两年制的学习。因此，我们强烈推荐某些科目/课程及对应的水平（请参照IBDP手册）。超出以上推荐科目范围的申请将需要IBDP协调员的批准。

New students to BIBA in Year 1 of the full diploma program who have not undergone IGCSE study will meet and be guided by the academic guidance staff and the IBDP coordinator to discuss subject options and overall suitability for the full diploma program. Those students’ who do not meet the academic requirements for the diploma program will be recommended to complete the IB BIBA Diploma.

如有新生进入IBDP第一年，但不具备IGCSE的学习背景，将需要与相关的指导老师及IBDP协调员共同讨论全日制文凭课程的科目选择，以及您的孩子是否适合进入全日制IBDP文凭课程项目。我们推荐不符合文凭课程学术要求的学生完成海嘉IB文凭。

IGCSE Admissions Requirements IGCSE 入学要求

IGCSE is a two year continuous program. Students enrolling in IGCSE Grade 9 must have the required English level ability to be able to complete all courses within the IGCSE program. Students entering at Grade 10 will be required to have completed previous Grade 9 IGCSE studies. Those students that do not have IGCSE Grade 9 studies will be required to sit further in-depth academic testing and discussions on eligibility for Grade 10 ICE exams will be held.

学习IGCSE的学生需连续进行两年的学习。报名参加IGCSE九年级的学生必须具备所需的英语水平以便完成IGCSE项目的全部课程。进入十年级的学生必须完成之前的九年级IGCSE相关科目的学习。没有九年级IGCSE学习背景的学生须参加进一步的学术测试，同时需与校方商榷是否具备参加十年级ICE证书考试的资格。
