Shanghai United International School Hefei Campus（SUIS-HF） is part of the Shanghai Xiehe Education and is a 12-year school comprising , primary school, secondary school and high school. The school's philosophy is "Developing in Harmony where East meets West", cultivating outstanding talents with Chinese sentiment and international vision, sound moral character, distinctive personality and strengths, solid academic foundation, innovative spirit, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and bilingual skills.

Xiehe Education Profile

Shanghai Xiehe Education was founded in 1993. It has developed along with the historical process of China's reform and opening up, witnessed the international development of contemporary China, especially Shanghai, towards the world, and become a pioneer and leader in the exploration of the development of private basic education in China. Xiehe Education has already hosted more than 40 kindergartens, 10 primary and secondary schools, one curriculum centre, and has been invited to host a number of public kindergartens and schools, with students from more than 40 countries and regions around the world. 30 years of practice in cross-cultural education has resulted in the formation of Xiehe's curriculum system and mode of school operation, which is "Developing in Harmony where East meets West". 合肥协和尊重学生生命成长规律，以学生的健康成长和全面发展为本，实施涵盖语言与文学、人文与全球视野、数学与思维、科技与创新意识、运动与健康、艺术与审美六大学习领域的“全人教育”。
SUIS Hefei Campus respects the law of students' life and growth, takes students' healthy growth and all-round development as the basis, and implements "whole-person education" covering six major learning areas, namely, language and literature, humanities and global vision, mathematics and thinking, science and technology and creative consciousness, sports and health, and arts and aesthetics.

在严格落实教育部、安徽省九年制义务教育课程安排的前提下，融合国际通行课程的先进教育理念和课程元素，在六个学习领域实施三类课程。

Under the premise of strictly implementing the curriculum arrangements of the Ministry of Education and Anhui Province for nine-year compulsory education, the three types of curriculum are implemented in six learning areas by integrating the advanced educational concepts and curriculum elements of the internationally accepted curriculum.

Respecting differences, diversifying choices and promoting students' individual development, we implement Xiehe's special subject-based extension programmes, such as AI Creators, ABRSM Music, Maths Games, Theme-based reading，Full-points Sport，Football, Swimming, Pottery Crafts, Street Dance, Cartoons, Traditional Crafts, English Sketching, Soft Calligraphy, and Distinctive Ethnicity.

探究型课程

Inquiry-based Courses

跨文化学习、跨学科统整，以开放性问题驱动学生讨论问题收集资源，自主研究并处理信息寻找答案，从而建构自己的知识和技能。如P4C（儿童哲学）、PBL（项目式学习）、STEAM课程、徽州文化课程、博物馆课程等。
Cross-cultural learning, interdisciplinary integration, open-ended questions drive students to discuss issues to gather resources, research and process information on their own to find answers, thus constructing their own knowledge and skills. Examples include P4C (Philosophy for Children), PBL (Project Based Learning), STEAM courses, "Huizhou Culture" Series of Courses, museum courses, etc.

High School of SUIS Hefei Campus adheres to the cultivation goal of "excellent students, model citizens, and industry leaders," and upholds the values of "diversity, balance, inclusiveness, and innovation." The school fully implements holistic education, empowering students to develop into outstanding globally-minded talents. The curriculum system of the school can be summarized as "one core and two wings," where "one core" refers to foundational courses, and "two wings" consist of expansive courses and investigative courses. This "one core and two wings" curriculum system emphasizes the balance, coordination, and sustainable development between academic achievements and comprehensive abilities. SUIS-HF has a strong, professional and dedicated teaching staff. Chinese teachers are directly assigned by Shanghai Xiehe Education combined with local recruitment. The foreign teachers are directly assigned by Shanghai Xiehe Education, and all hold foreign expert certificates and have extensive teaching experience in different countries and in established campuses in Shanghai. All Chinese and foreign teachers continue to receive educational and pedagogical training from the Shanghai Xiehe Education, the education authorities of Hefei City and Baohu District, and the Cambridge Curriculum Centre to achieve professional growth.
